No Boozer. No Noah. So what's it going to be, TT? 30 minutes a piece for Taj, Big Sexy, and Turkish D? Meaningful minutes for White Mamba? Or a lot of Luol Deng at the 4? I'm thinking the likelihood of each is 49/1/50 respectively. Either way, let's show how deep this frontcourt is tonight and take hold of that #1 seed.
I don't like the green uniforms. I feel like I'm rooting for the Celtics. St. Patrick's day is dumb. Between that and Independence Day, there's 2 holidays for Boston sports teams. This is unacceptable.
ReplyDeleteStacey just said what was in my mind. THAT'S how you attack the zone.
ReplyDeleteNow stop letting Yi Jianlian rain Js on you.
ReplyDeleteNeil: "The Bulls have scored 7 unanswered"
ReplyDeleteStacey: "And the Bulls are on a 9-0 run as well"
Can't be both, guys.
So...what was that about the Bulls not being a good outside shooting team?
ReplyDeleteTaj tried to pull a baseline ninja move. Didn't work. Teach him how to do it, Ronnie.
ReplyDeleteWhoah, the 1% chance came through! I'm on the record as believing White Mamba is a legitimate NBA player that could play significant minutes on half the teams in the NBA. Here's the chance to show it. Step 1: Don't drop it when Derrick shovels you the ball.
ReplyDeleteThat was kind of a weak "Too big too strong". Save it for a better one, Stacey.
ReplyDeleteThat was a sick dunk, TBN.
ReplyDeleteI'm against the green unis, but not the lime green shoes. Good call, Kyle.
ReplyDeleteReally looked like the refs weren't going to call that foul if it had went in. If that had happened on the playground, Asik would have gotten some weird looks at least for calling that.
ReplyDeleteLooks like after Mamba's ineffectiveness, TT has switched to option #3
ReplyDeleteStop letting McGee block everything in sight. It's getting annoying. No one ELSE on the Wizards is playing D, Javale, get with the program.
ReplyDeletePeople need to start recognizing how awesome TBN is. He's everything I want from a shooting guard for this team.
ReplyDeleteTHAT'S how you baseline ninja someone. TBN!
ReplyDeleteI feel like the Bulls have been dominating this game. How are we only up 5?
ReplyDeleteDespite ending with a Big Sexy 3, I'm going to go ahead and say that wasn't out best quarter of the season.
ReplyDeleteSomehow TBN is -7 at the half. The perils of unadjusted +/-. All 5 starters are positive (Bogans leading the way at +11), but I don't feel like any of them have been great (especially Taj.)
ReplyDeleteMaybe we need to play Bogans a little more tonight, yes?
ReplyDeleteNice 3, but I didn't really like that shot by Bogans. Especially after a missed one on the last possession. What a pass by Thomas to Deng.
ReplyDeleteRedemption for Taj!
ReplyDeleteTaj: the new Bulls whipping boy
ReplyDeleteMcGee didn't get a hand on Kurt's shot there, but he damn sure altered it.
ReplyDeleteThat would have been a bad turnover in an 8th grade game. If one of my players did that, I would immediately pull them out of the game and talk to them
ReplyDeleteWhy Bogans just got a tech. He stripped Yi cleanly, then Yi pulled a loose ball foul to keep Bogans away. Then when Wall caught up with it, he flopped when Bogans came by. Terrible officiating.
ReplyDeleteMake up call with the palming, though.
Couldn't agree more
ReplyDeleteThe way the starters have come out each half, I gotta think there's no way Bogans isn't the +/- champion tonight.
ReplyDeleteFinally! So many 3pt attempts
ReplyDeleteStacey just used the telestrator to show that either Javale fell asleep on defense or the Wizards are overly concerned about Big Sexy's post game.
ReplyDeleteBogans played the whole 3rd quarter. Wonder when the last time that happened was.
ReplyDeleteLittle slip at the end, but a good defensive quarter from the Bulls. Only 14 for the Wizards.
ReplyDeletePlease make some free throws Lu
ReplyDeleteTake back the part about Bogans being the +/- champion. I had assumed when I wrote that that TT was going with his normal rotation pattern of not playing Bogans in even-numbered quarters.
ReplyDeleteI may be biased since I tend to make my living from beyond the arc, but I'm fine with the Bulls looking to shoot from deep early. It'd be nice to see teams respecting the Bulls from farther away, and opening lanes for Rose and Deng.
ReplyDeleteBogans is +26, but all five starters are +double digits. Somehow Kyle is -11. How does he pull this off game after game?
ReplyDeleteCrowd is getting worried about their Big Macs...
ReplyDeleteThings TT needs to get better at: Get Lu and Derrick out of this game now.
ReplyDeleteThat was quite an impressive dunk, Javale. You do realize you're down 20 with 18 seconds left, right?
ReplyDeleteScal looks like he didn't realize the Bulls had 98 points. Pointed to himself and said "My fault" after the buzzer sounded.
ReplyDeleteSole No.1 Seed
