Bears-Eagles Open Thread

I like what I'm seeing so far. Martz is calling plays that take advantage of Philly's blitzes, and the front four are getting pressure on Vick. Keep this up and we could have a nice 1 game lead on our hands at the end of the day.

  1. I usually hate the wide receiver screen, but the way Cutler sold that fake made it work that time.

  2. Crap, I was worried the Eagles would come down and answer right away. This next drive will be huge for the Bears, they need to put something together.

  3. That's the opposite of what I had in mind.

  4. So what happened to quick plays designed to get the ball out of Cutler's hands so he can't get scaked, Martz?

  5. Whoah...Tommie Harris did something good...is it 2007?

  6. Great job by Hester staying in bounds on that catch.

  7. Jay, can you at least pretend to be part of the play when we go to the wildcat?

  8. Also, I don't care that it resulted in a first down, that flip to Forte was retarded. There's about a 50/50 chance that was 7 going the other way, which is what we DON'T need right now. Take the sack and punt, Jay.

  9. I don't understand not going for the touchdown there. I know you need 2 TDs and a field goal, but you don't get many better chances than the 2 yard line. I'm sure Vick could have gotten you the 2 yards.

  10. See what I'm saying? You had 4th and 2. Now you have 4th and 18.

  11. You needed two touchdowns. Now you need...two touchdowns. It's like you didn't even score at all.

  12. How the hell did he make that catch? That was terrible.
